Awareness to Action Panel, 8 March 2013
This panel's discussion centered on moving women from Awareness to Action—from talking about what's wrong to being aware of issues in their own back yard, and the impact at stake within their own communities. Panelists provided a brief history of movements women created, forecasted the trajectory of things to come, and a pointed view of what's at stake if women do not step up. Attendees left with actionable steps to reach their full economic, societal potential, and a commitment to make 2013 the year they move beyond 'like' and 'follow' and onto action.
